The songs in this series of songbooks were all inspired by experiences in my life. They are told in photographs, drawings, music and lyrics. I have tried to combine bits of history with modern day events in the attempt to show patterns of human behavior that seem to be unchanging down through the years. Some of the songs were from my musical plays, “Magic Man” and Boomtown U.S.A.” Both of these musical stage plays won awards in the New York Screenwriting Contest in 2018 & 2019 in the stage play category – first place for Boomtown U.S.A. and third place for Magic Man.
